Thoth Tarot Course

Tarot is one of the oldest and most effective ways of developing deeper understanding of yourself and others by connecting with the unconscious and higher conscious parts of the mind. Misunderstood and misused for many years as a medium for fortune telling, it is now returning to its true use, as a tool for awareness and consciousness. Anyone can learn how to use the tarot for finding new insights and perspectives into who they really are and what is happening inside them, and others, as well as for clarity in practical situations and relationships. Having this tool in your life is like having a wise and intimate friend always available to give advice and clarity.

The Aleister Crowley pack, which we will be using, is one of the most powerful and probably most respected tarot packs in the world today. Designed by a master occultist early last century, it has an enormous depth that can be used for spiritual, psychological and practical readings.

You will learn how to relate to the 78 cards through the intuitive, feeling part of the brain, connecting with each card as in inner experience. In this way you will be ready to start using them as springboards to expand and develop the intuitive mind as well as the conscious awareness. All the factual information needed to be a proficient reader, including the unique layout methods, is given in the detailed book that accompanies the course.  

The Advance group will be about putting into practice and consolidating what has been learnt in the basic course. It is an invaluable way of integrating the understanding and is highly recommended for all participants.  You will discover how to playfully awaken the intuitive capacity and apply it to the cards, learning the art of reading through your own experience. As this happens you will gain many practical insights into yourselves and what is happening in your lives right now. You will be experiencing what it really means to use tarot as a tool for conscious awareness.

Group Leader -- MANGALA Born in England, Mangala obtained a degree in psychology and then spent several years as a successful magazine writer, before editing a progressive women magazine in South Africa. In 1975, she met her spiritual master in India and the whole direction of her life from then onwards has been geared towards consciousness.  One of her first discoveries on the spiritual path was the use of tarot cards which she found to be a far more accurate and perceptive tool for delving into human consciousness than her earlier studies in psychology. She later added a number of other psychic tools but it is tarot, and shortly after numerology, that formed the foundation of her inquiries into her own mind and very soon, the minds of others For the past 25 years she has been a professional psychic and intuitive counsellor and run various workshops in many parts of the world, teaching people how to become more conscious and to develop their own intuitive capacities.
